      <image:title>Discography - Samudra - Samudra - 2021</image:title>
<image:caption>A followup single to Tales of A Traveller, Samudra is a 2-track single inspired the raw power and beauty of the Tasman Sea off New Zealand’s West Coast. Drawing its name from the Sanskrit word for “ocean”, Samudra contains two tracks that attempts to encapsulate this natural phenomenon through the lens of neo-classical and contemporary jazz piano. The first track (titled “The Migration”) is an 11 minute, through-composed epic that was originally premiered at the TedXTauranga conference in July 2021, while the second track is an extended cut of my 2020 hit Typhoon featuring additional sections drawing inspiration from Carnatic classical music and “djent” metal stylings.</image:caption>

      <image:title>Discography - Tales of A Traveller - Tales of A Traveller - 2020</image:title>
<image:caption>Composed and recorded over 2 months in 2019, Tales of A Traveller is my debut solo album. Combining aspects of traditional Persian and Hindustani classical music with influence from modern contemporary jazz and post-classical composers. A reflection of the wide variety of artists I was exposed to during my studies at the NZSM Te Koki, Tales of A Traveller draws inspiration from Middle Eastern/Eastern European ethnojazz composers such as Avishai Cohen and Tigran Hamasyan, as well as neo-classical and minimalist pianists/composers such as Ludovico Einaudi, Nils Frahm, and Ryuichi Sakamoto.</image:caption>

      <image:title>Discography - Ethnographica - Ethnographica - 2021</image:title>
<image:caption>Composed and produced as part of a thesis project for my Honours degree in jazz performance. Ethnographica is the resultant album that seeks to combine musical influences from across Southern and Western Asia with contemporary jazz idioms. By adapting performative techniques from traditional instrumentation to be playable on jazz instruments, I hope to bridge the gap between East and West through a confluence of cultures.</image:caption>
